A veteran of the New York music scene, Howie Silverman is the newest member of Ten Gallon Fat. He recently made his debut with the band at The C-Note on Friday August 6th, 2004. 

Most recently Howie has been gigging and recording with The Moondogs, and can be heard on their recently released CD, Bone Appetit! 

He likes his rock and roll rootsy, and counts John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, and The Band among his favorite artists.

In addition to the drums, Howie plays some guitar and mandolin and sings too!
