Musta been in someone's master plan that I end up in the same neighborhood with this knucklehead.
The man is warped, so obviously we made fast friends. And he can eat more bbq than you can shake a stick at.  His songs are just plain wrong on so many levels. That's why I love them. You will too.

Rob Wolf
Another good friend and co-writer down here in Nashvegas. This Jersey boy's music defies categorization.  And he's a hoot to boot.  Did I say "hoot"?  And "to boot"? In the same sentence? Golly, the heat is getting to me. Did I say golly?

www.caricole.com
Great singer, songwriter, vocal teacher, and friend. Her new CD is food for the soul.
I played keyboards in her band for a while, and I co-produced one of her songs for a compilation CD, back in 1998.

Forget James Brown, our good friend Ed Ryan is the hardest working man in show business. Legendary singer/songwriter, comedian, renaissance man occasionally sits in with TGF, when his schedule allows him a rare night off.

www.billgriese.com
I met Bill Griese on my first trip to Nashville. We hung out till 4 in the morning three nights in a row, playing song after song after song. Fans of James Taylor and David Wilcox will love his songs and smooth vocals.

.   Legendary lo-fi garage band pioneer Frank Beane...or as I call him, "the artist formerly known as Joe Spadaro" fronted the Sewer Rats in one of his many incarnations.  The famously schizophrenic Beane recently became the first solo artist in music history to break up with himself.  He's now running hi own record label. But, I hope he'll be back with a new band soon... or at least come on down to Nashville and write some country songs with me.

www.peekamoose-people.com
My buddy Brian’s website, entirely devoted to camping in the great wide open, up at Peekamoose Mountain, in the Catskills. They call it a camping trip, but it’s really an eating trip with tents and guitars. The Peekamoose-people have turned eating into an art form. (and of course, drinking too!) I can’t wait to go back…

Graphic Nashville

Nancy Hagen is an amazing graphic artist, from commercial stuff to independent cd projects. I was lucky enough to have her do my last cd project too.  Lots of other projects on her website too. Check it out.

Smash Studios
Where I do all my Nashville recording.  My buddy, Scott Neubert can play just about any instrument I ask him to while twisting knobs and hitting the record button at the same time.

www.sabellastudios.com
Truly a world class recording studio. My old band recorded our album there. Jim always made us stop for dinner. (Like he had to remind us to eat!)

www.phaseonesound.com
The best rehearsal studio anywhere.
Walter lives on coffee. Never seen him eat. Not even close to 200 pounds. Sicko! We spent every Monday night there for a few years, when we used to practice.
Now we just fake it.

Robby the Web Guru. Built our website, designed our t-shirts.  Recently moved from Alaska to Boston. I’ve still never met him in person. Hopefully, he's no skinny-melink.

www.verycoolguitars.com

A vintage and used guitar store, specializing in clean, original guitars by Gibson, Fender, Paul Reed Smith, and everyone else under the sun. I recently got myself a nice Telecaster there.

If you write songs, (any genre) you should belong to NSAI.

Just a few of my favorite songwriters:

www.thebeatles.com
Lennon & McCartney? Not too shabby. I have every song they ever released on CD.
I listened to my brothers scratched up White Album about 20,000 times in 7th Grade. I could still tell you where the skips were.

www.jacksonbrowne.com
Late For The Sky, and I’m Alive are both in my top 10 favorite albums of all time.

The Poet Laureate of country music.

Great writer and singer.

Who’s cooler than Bobby D?

www.bobdipiero.com
Another Bob D.  Incredible songwriter, with 14 #1 hits. Funny, funny guy. Could have been a standup comic.

Who else could write a pop song with references to Nabakov?

www.rollingstones.com
World’s greatest rock’n’roll band. Mick and Keith underappreciated for their songwriting.

Radio Stations

www.wfuv.org
WFUV 90.7 FM.  Public Radio at it's best.
The only radio station in NY as far as I’m concerned. Thanks to Wally Walshenheimer for turning me on to this station many moons ago.
