Make Some Noise
(Bill Maier)

Soon as their car pulled out I ran and called the boys
“Mama and Daddy are gone, it’s time to make some noise”
We’d crank those guitars and amps up to ten
Like they was never coming back again
Nobody’s home, it’s time to make some noise

Mama was screaming at the top of the stairs
Daddy was bangin on the pots and pans
When they came home early that night
We kept on rockin 'til they turned out the lights
Sayin “come on boys, lets make some noise”

Well the more things change
The more they stay the same
Ain’t life funny, ain’t it strange

This morning we packed our little rug rats into Grandma’s car
Me and the Missus stayed home to get some r&r
It’s high time we blow off some steam
My baby says she’s ready to scream
Nobody’s home, it’s time to make some noise

The neighbors better cover their ears
We’ll be swingin from the chandeliers
Nobody’s home, it’s time to make some noise
