Way back in the 90's Bill Maier had a bad mullet, and a rockin band with a weird name. In spite of the mullet, they managed to get voted one of the top 10 bands in the New York tri-state area, by rock station WCCC in Connecticut! They also managed to rock the house in legendary NYC clubs like McGovern's, The Bitter End, and Kenny's Castaways, and release this CD chock full of Bill Maier classics. Songs like Runaway Train, Shame Shame Shame, So Hard, and Drag You Down showcased Bill's emerging Nashville influence, while songs like Really Don't Know, Real Tight, and Monsters And Thieves flat out rock! "The children' showed their versatility on Rock and Roll Shoes an ode to Steely Dan that is sure to get your feet tappin. Co-produced by Maier and NYC hit producer Kenny Gioia this CD still sounds great today!
